Evaluation mutagenic of the medicinales plants Baccharis trimera Less. e Solanum melogena L. in cells of bone medule of Wistar Rats.
Abstract
In the field of pharmacology investigations is important to valuate the genotoxic and/or carcinogenic potential from medicinal plants. These valuations are necessary to increase the population security from those who use these plants. In this paper, it was valuated the mutagenic from the infusion of carqueja (Baccharis trimera) in concentrations of 6,85 and 68,5 mg/ml and from eggplant juice (Solanum melongena L.) in concentrations of 21,97 and 43,94 mg/ml on Wistar Rats’ bone marrow cells treated in vivo by intense treatment. The statistic analysis was made by chi-squared test. The tested concentrations from both plants didn’t cause significant cytotoxic action, not even chromosomes alterations in rat’s bone marrow cells.Downloads
