This study aims to reflect on the contributions of (auto)biographical research to the constitution of the professional identity of the Geography teacher, bringing together the (auto)formative threads of different life trajectories. It is a qualitative bibliographic study in which we draw on authors who present perspectives on the themes addressed—teacher education, identity, and professional identity—with the aim of highlighting the importance of memory and life history. The proposal is grounded in the education of popular teachers and in the recovery of the memories of teacher Meri Lourdes Bezzi.
