O POTENCIAL LITERÁRIO NA HISTÓRIA: Fuenteovejuna de Lope de Vega

Abstract

This article investigates the relationship between history and literature as textuality. These two areas were seen as disparate, but they have more connections than one might think. By abandoning a positivist view of history, is possible to realize the power of literature to aid historicity. In this sense, the play Fuenteovejuna by Lope de Veja is studied as a historiographical work.
