Abstract

Artistic and scientific knowledge are not heterogeneous extremes, both knowledge are endowed with the intellective and cognitive faculty of the human being, they are abstractions of thought. In the context of the performing arts, we situate in particular the phenomenon of gesture as a singular and metaphorical expression and, for this, we observe as a cut of analysis its manifestation in a scenic investigation of the movement. In this sense, we will surround the phenomenon of the scenic gesture, problematizing both its aspect of body movement that reveals through a psychological state an intentionality to express something, as well as their way of manifesting ethical conduct and behavior. When we show this proposition as a starting point, we intend to develop an experience of thought from a phenomenon that is not allowed to enter into theories and categories of scientific textual culture.
