This article aims to contribute to the understanding of the word as a performative potential. From the study of the phenomenon of marginal poetry of the saraus, hip-hop, the slam to the (per)formed word, the objective is to demonstrate how the power of the word and its scenic potency, relationship with the concept of intuition and activism in art, they are capable of producing poetic and ethical meaning in the contemporary scene. The work is the result of theoretical and practical research carried out in the field of creation processes and intends to investigate intuition as a creative device for performance art. The ethnographic methodology of Sylvie Fortin and Pierre Gosselin (2014) was used to organize the creative material. In this way, the decolonial paradigm was discussed from the perspective of structural racism, black identity and the black body on the scene. Part of the practical results was presented at the Black Brazil Art Biennial, produced in partnership with the Njabala Foundation of Uganda. The work was awarded in 2019 and the author was invited to join an international artistic residency.
