Screendance “Procedures for the End of the World”: a dramaturgy of yourself in vídeo

Abstract

This study aims to understand the autobiography present in the screen dance works Suspender, All paths, Delírio and Gênius, the result of a research process in screen dance called the webseries "Procedures for the end of the world", created by the dancer Davidson Xavier. From the analysis of the scenes created for the video and rereading of the logbook, the text seeks to reflect in a phenomenological way on Screen dance, the notion of body-house, dramaturgy and the SARS-CoV 2 pandemic, in the year 2020.

Author Biography

Davidson José Martins Xavier, Universidade Federal de Goiás

Artista - educador, Ator e Bailarino, DRT: 28.220. Possui MBA em História da Arte, Pós-graduado em Psicopedagogia. Graduado em Artes - Habilitação em Teatro pela Universidade Estadual de Montes Claros - Unimontes (2004); Curso Licenciatura em dança no Instituto Federal de Goias - Campus Aparecida de Goiânia -GO. Atualmente é professor Substituto na Universidade Federal de Goias, nos cursos de licenciatura em Dança, Licenciatura e bacharelado em Educação Física (FEFD) e Licenciatura em Teatro (EMAC). Atuou como professor no curso Superior em Produção Cênica e nos cursos Formação inicial e continuada em interpretação teatral e curso de habilitação profissional técnica em nível médio em arte dramática no ITEGO Basileu França / GO (2016 a 2019). Atuou como professor no curso de Dança-Licenciatura no Instituto Federal Goiano no ano de 2016. Como professor de Teatro e Dança na Rede Estadual de Ensino em Goiânia para series iniciais (2015 e 2016), professor convidado da modalidade dança contemporânea no projeto de Extensão em Dança da Unimontes - Grupo Compassos, como tutor virtual da disciplina Expressão Corporal, no curso de Teatro da UNIMONTES - 2012, como ator e preparador físico junto ao Grupo Olho de Gato, e Grupo de teatro de bonecos Passaporte para a alegria, na cidade de Montes Claros; e como bailarino no Balé do Estado de Goiás / GO, Bailarino no Das Los Grupo de Dança - Goiânia, na ONG FINAC em Ribeirão Preto- SP, Ditarso Cia de Dança em Montes Claros-MG e Balé de Câmara de Montes Claros. Destaca-se a atuação junto ao Ballet Essência em Janaúba- MG, onde atuava como professor e instigador cênico. Tem experiência nas áreas de Dramaturgia do corpo, Poéticas do corpo, processos criativos em artes cênicas,Educação Somática,Expressão corporal,Ballet clássico e Dança contemporânea.
