Abstract

This paper aims to present and discuss the data produced by the doctoral research entitled Choreobox: hyper-choreographic objects and materialities or time particles in Dance (2022), presented at the Postgraduate Program in Performing Arts, at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. The research, interdisciplinary and using A/r/tographic methodology, recorded dances with a Notch A motion capture system, performed 3D animation of kinematic data and built digital sculptures, later printed in 3 dimensions. This process was called hyper-choreographic objects, constituting interactive sculptures with QR Codes that demonstrated the compositional layers of the sculptures.

Artista e pesquisador de danças e visualidades multimídia. Doutor e mestre em Artes Cênicas pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande so Sul (UFRGS). Professor no curso de Dança Bacharelado e no Programa de Pós-graduação em Artes da Cena da Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (PPGAC-UFSM). Líder do Grupo de pesquisa/Laboratorio Kháos: danças, encruzilhadas e tecnologias (CNPq).

Artista-pesquisadore em Dança. Docente dos cursos de Dança da Universidade Federal do Ceará (Licenciatura e Bacharelado). Doutore e mestre em Artes Cênicas, licenciade e especialista em Dança (Universidade Federal Rio do Grande do Sul), bacharel em Fisioterapia (Universidade Federal de Goiás).
