Based on video documents recorded by TVE/RS, a public television station in the State of Rio Grande do Sul, this article discusses two dance works presented in Porto Alegre in the second half of the 1980s: Só, um homem só (1987) from Rubens Barbot and Gatto Larsen and As três parcas ou Retratos V (1988), from Terpsí – Teatro de Dança. The study investigates the creation process, the work of the dancer-creator in dialogue with the choreographer and the themes of the pieces, using as reference the interviews and testimonials of the artists that appear in the analyzed documents.Downloads
