Abstract

This article intends to contextualize the work of the German choreographer and dancer, Pina Bausch (1940-2009), a world reference of the Tanztheater. We have analyse the use of daily gesture in Bausch´s work Kontakthof. The piece was created in 1978 with the Tanztheater Wuppertal dancers and its construction revolved around the human relations conflicts, such as power relations, affection, submission, discoveries and exposures. The analysis of the daily gestures uses is carried out in the piece that in the year 2000 had a new version with ladies and gentlemen over 65 years, and in 2008 with Wuppertal´s public schools students, both cast without any professional dance experience. This article has the theoretical support of authors such as Stanislavski, Brecht and Gil, in dialogue with others Bausch’s works.

Marina Milito de Medeiros, Universidade Federal de Alagoas - UFAL/ Doutoranda na Faculdade de Arquitetura e Urbanismo (FAU) e Professora Substituta do Curso de Licenciatura em Dança (ICHCA).

Atriz-bailarina e pesquisadora, atualmente é professora do Curso de Licenciatura em Dança da UFAL (Maceió) e Doutorando no Programa de Pós Graduação em Arquitetura e Urbanismo – FAU/UFAL. Ex-integrante e colaboradora do Grupo de Teatro Os Geraldos (Campinas-SP) e do LAPETT – Laboratório de Pesquisa e Estudos em Tanztheatralidades (São Paulo-SP), coordenado pela professora Doutora Sayonara Pereira (ECA/USP). Mestra e Bacharel em Artes Cênicas pela UNICAMP tem o Tanztheater como linha de pesquisa. Fez cursos de dança e dança-teatro no Brasil, Colômbia, Alemanha e Itália, incluindo o UNI-TANZ Lecce (2013) – intensivo de verão com professores da Folkwang Universität der Künst (Essen/Alemanha) e bailarinos do Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch. Desde 2006 participa de diversos espetáculos de teatro, dança, música e dança-teatro nas funções de intérprete e diretora, se apresentando por todo Brasil e também no exterior. Trabalha desde 2008 como professora, ministrando aulas de teatro, dança e dança-teatro para crianças, jovens e adultos. Foi professora de Curso Técnico de Arte Dramática do Conservatório Carlos Gomes, do Curso de Formação de Atores Os Geraldos (ambos em Campinas–SP) e professora da disciplina Pedagogia da Dança na especialização em Teatro, Dança e Produção Cultural da USC (Bauru-SP).
