Abstract

O presente artigo trata da crescente valorização da presença feminina nos palcos do teatro de revista observada a partir de 1920. São abordadas também a participação das mulheres na esfera social, e a atuação da atriz Margarida Max, que ficou conhecida como uma das maiores vedetes do início do século XX.
