Automatismo Divino: Teatralidade e anti-teatralidade na poética cênica de E. Gordon Craig

Usando como pano de fundo o estudo Stage Fright do téorico Martin Puchner, o artigo discorre sobre um aspecto peculiar à arte do teatro de Gordon Craig relacionado a duas tendências antagônicas que, de forma concomitante, se afirmam nas projeções visionárias do encenador inglês: uma de ordem teatral e outra de natureza anti-teatral. Sugere, além disso, uma possível leitura da poética cênica de Craig à luz da concepção aristotélica do automatismo divino, numa abordagem que, sobre esse aspecto, toma como refencial o ensaio “Deus e a Marionete” de Lyotard.
