Abstract

This article presents the methodology developed in the course Acting: Character at the Federal University of Uberlândia between 2023 and 2025, integrating Stanislavski’s system with contemporary training approaches. Supported by theorists such as Stanislavski, Kusnet, and D’Agostini, the work is structured in three stages: intuitive experimentation, theoretical-practical seminars, and scenic construction. Its aim is to overcome the gap between theory and practice by using physical action as the core of actor training. Methodologically, the study describes procedures, exercises, pedagogical strategies, and adaptations implemented across four different student groups.
