Linda Farkas: do bastão ao tornado de fogo

This article discusses about Linda Farkas, a world-renowned artist in the field of juggling and fire shows, member of the Hungarian group Magma Firetheater. The objective is to analyze the trajectory of this artist, considering the relationship between her creations with contemporary fire juggling shows. To this end, qualitative research was conducted, opting for a case study, using bibliographic research, video-photographic records, and the translation of interviews and newspapers as data collection procedures. In order to contextualize the research, the article initially describes some information about fire juggling; subsequently, it deals with Linda Farkas, delving into arguments relating to her productions. As a result, show what Linda Farkas' creations stood out for their use of juggling instruments with fire props and costumes, which contributed to the creation of shows structured around a narrative dramaturgy. In addition, show what she was a pioneer in the creation, which have become a strong reference in today's creations by artists who work with this type of show, in different parts of the world.
