Abstract

The article is based on a reflective analysis of an observation practice that took place in 2023 at Teatro O Bando in Portugal. At the time, the theater group O Bando was preparing to start rehearsals for its next performance, Nómadas (2023). The essay aims to feed the range of methodologies, vocabularies and modes based on practice as research in theater and is structured from the perspective of observer-participant (outsider and insider), two distinct points of view that trigger reflections on the practices that unite performance-technology and the fluid triangulation between observing-creating-reflecting.
