Abstract

This article proposes a reflection on the erotic conformation in artistic creation in dance. The aim is to understand the distorted eroticism in the mediation of sociability capitalist, which, through consumption, depreciates it, relegating it to the role of a por-nographic agent. In order to present the potentiality in creative making, there is an effort to promote a discussion that distances any ideal that subjects the bodies to a violation of their own feelings. The adopted approach uses a qualitative analysis of Audre Lorde's erotic perception. The resulting reflection emphasizes the need for artists to become aware of themselves and the world, aiming to provoke true changes towards a society where the sensual attains its deepest dimensions.
