From subtext to in between

Abstract

This paper reflects on the notion of subtext, which was understood, along with Constantin Stanislavski's system, as a kind of framework or support for acting. The thought exposed here relates this process to the spheres shared between actors and spectators in order to reflect on the presence of subtexts in contemporary scenic practices.

Angelene Lazzareti é artista e professora adjunta da Universidade Federal da Integração Latino-Americana (UNILA). Doutora em Artes Cênicas, atua com foco em Processos de Criação Artística; Estudos do Corpo; e Poéticas do entre. Atualmente é coordenadora do projeto de pesquisa e extensão Poéticas do ENTRE, coletivo formado por artistas multidisciplinares de diferentes países da América Latina.
