Abstract

This essay is about Bahia’s theatre modernization themes. This process developes itself in a general modernity movement of the president Juscelino Kubitscheck’s govern period.  This modern theatre takes place with  Escola de Teatro (Theatre School), under Martim Gonçalves direction.
