This is a critical account of the assembly process of the play “Os Datilógrafos” (The Typists - 1960), with text by Murray Schisgal and directed by Celso Nunes, from whom the researcher was the director assistant. The focus of the work is placed at the complex time relationships involved in Schisgal’s drama and in its adaptation to Rio de Janeiro at 2012. This view includes direction, set design, costume design, interpretation and soundtrack. The generational gaps within the creative team are also part of this approach, which has some conceptual support of Gilles Deleuze and Paul Ricouer, and others not directly cited.Downloads
