This article proposes an analytical study about the spectacle Pelas ordens do rei que pede socorro, by the street theater group O Buraco d'Oráculo, from São Paulo. It questions an unstable composition of the scene as an act, a spectacle or a performance. Besides the comments about the staging recorded in a settlement of the Landless Rural Worke’s Movement (MST), the analysis exposes an important act from a peripheral group in defense of theater as a democratic action.
