Abstract

The novel La mujer en cuestión (The woman in question), published by Argentine writer María Teresa Andruetto in 2003, is narrated by a kind of narrator-investigator who constructs a report similar to a journalistic account. Eva Mondino, the protagonist, is a militant survivor of the Argentine dictatorship (1976-1983). It is a novel that allows us, through a fictional and testimonial way, to discuss what Ravetti (2019) understands as reflexive performative realism from some axes, such as the following: the romanesque structure of the inform linked to the fictionalized testimonial content and the figure of the informant narrator. The theoretical and critical basis of this work is, besides Ravetti (2002, 2003, 2019), Arán (2009), Pubill (2012), among others.
