Resumen

This article proposes to revisit the treatment of nominalizations in French Discourse Analysis (AD), a category historically linked to the forms of the préconstruit, drawing on a corpus of sentences taken from scientific articles and self-narratives of individuals who have undergone conversion therapy. The study focuses on the nominalizations of psychological predicates and highlights the limits of the procedures currently mobilized in AD, which we organize around three axes: (A) the distinction between nominalizations of action verbs and psychological verbs; (B) the complex event structure underlying verbal predicates; (C) the opposition between argument and relational adjective. The conclusion points to the notion of préconstruit in AD and proposes an enunciative perspective based on the Théorie des operations énonciatives.
