Resumo

Uma análise crítica da obra: “GRAVES-BROWN, C.  Demons and Spirits in Ancient Egypt. Cardiff: University of Wales Press, 2018, xix + 200 pp. ISBN 978178683288-7”. Propõe-se uma contextualização temática acerca do debate egiptológico na construção de uma ontologia sobre o complexo conceito de “demônio” no Egito antigo. A obra em análise é então enquadrada nesse contexto a partir das suas propostas e discutida do ponto de vista das suas principais contribuições para o estado da arte do tema.
