Abstract

This article aims to contribute to the discussions that involve the feminine representativeness and the spaces that are destined to women on the textual gender biography, thinking about this specific kind of text as one of the elements that support the construction of perspectives and the worldview, basic premise of all and any literary texts. We intent to discuss the biographic text as a relevant source in order to debate issues that are related to gender, since it is one of the best ways of the social memory representation. The problematization here occurs through the literature review, based on authors that investigate the topics gender and biography.
