Abstract

This review is dedicated to the critical analysis of the work Sensible Moyen Âge published in 2015 in the French language by historians Damien Boquet and Piroska Nagy. The work undertakes a careful investigation into the emotional dimension and its expressions throughout the centuries considered as medieval. This review dialogues with theoretical references of the social history of emotions and cultural history to understand the intricate mechanisms of social and political relationship mediated by emotions.
