Abstract

The present paper aims to make a analysis from the ultramontane’s journal O Apóstolo that commented and reported the Paris Commune of 1871. From that, the goal is to explore the contrasts and nuances of the struggle between two differents prospects and conjuntures: the Brazilian one as a catholic and slavery empire monarchy; and the French, where the first socialist experience in history defined, not the end of a revolutionary period, but the start of a new social revolution age in a seventy-two days government which shocked the Europe and Americas.
