Resumen

New data on Pygocephalomorph Crustacea is provided, together with a historical analysis of previous work on the group. Pygaspis brasiliensis Beurlen, 1934, from the Permian Iratí Formation of Brazil is redescribed and compared with South African pygocephalomorphs.
