Abstract

This work makes reflections on the spatial organization of kanhgág villages, having as reference the comparison made by some interlocutors with the city of non-indigenous people. Therefore, it resumes characterizations of past and present forms of spatiality of this indigenous group of the Jê linguistic branch. Based on fieldwork in Indigenous Lands of the Tibagi River basin, especially in TI Apucarana, it draws attention to the complexity of relationships in villages in the present, both in their intra-ethnic relationships and in the forms of introjection of alterity and production of differences, comparing them to discussions of the dualism to some Jê groups.  It indicates historical transformations that have taken place in the domains of politics and alterity that also implied new relations in the space.
