The paper compares the inclusive person in Bakairi language with the corresponding set of personal pronouns in others Southern Cariban languages (Ykpeng and Kuikuro), in order to identify the type of morphology involved, namely person marks, the dual relationship and inclusivity. Besides their grammatical functions, such morphemes are closely related to discursive devices used to express notions of identity and alterity within indigenous groups (ontological process linguistically marked). As such, it offers a reanalysis of the formal linguistic expression for the inclusive person regarding its connection with number and deictic positions.Downloads
