Abstract
Understanding Rights, Knowledge, and Wisdom “Stolen” from Traditional Peoples
Abstract: This article aims to discuss and understand traditional peoples from the perspective of the predatory practices that “steal” rights, knowledge, and wisdom from groups that maintain their resilience through ancestral knowledge passed down through the defense of indigenous territories, the presence of differentiated education schools, and the art that “instructs” the daily struggle of indigenous peoples. It analyzes the contributions to the dossier entitled “Stolen Rights,” Traditional Knowledge and Wisdom, highlighting the correlations present among the works submitted to Espaço Ameríndio (Amerindian Space) as a response to the call/provocation made to the journal's audience.
