The path we wish to trace is a reflection on the literary exchanges and transfers between Urihi: our land, our forest, by Devair Fiorotti (2017), a writer from Espírito Santo based in Roraima, and the book A Queda do Céu, by Davi Kopenawa and Bruce Albert (2015). Devair's book was published in a local context in 2017 and portrays a strong reality experienced in Roraima: the violence suffered by the Yanomami indigenous people due to mining, an illegal activity that is unfortunately very common in some municipalities in Roraima. In this way, this journey is limited to the search for evidence that reveals elements of representation based on a local narrative with an indigenous theme. Regarding the method used to develop this study, this work is configured as research of an exploratory, interpretative and comparative nature.
