Territorial struggles in Latin America have shaped important indigenous and peasant socio-territorial movements that, in the construction of their popular political horizons, enunciate a profound transformation of reality at different scales of action. These are struggles that, throughout their history, show diverse confluences with respect to the territorial political project they promote, while at the same time containing significant and historical difference in the construction of paths to emancipation. Among these, we highlight the struggle of the National Indigenous Congress - Indigenous Council of Government (CNI-CIG), in Mexico, and the struggle of La Via Campesina Brazil (VC-B), both emblematic movements that constitute themselves as collective political subjects in struggle and that promote popular horizons of transformation. Through the methodological proposal of Raquel Gutiérrez (2017), we examine these struggles to identify and analyze the inner horizons, which they express, practice and promote, with the practical achievements and successes - partial triumphs - of their processes for political and social transformation. With the objective of showing that, with their convergences and divergences, the construction of popular political horizons - community and national - are present in both territorial struggles.
