Revista de Informática Teórica e Aplicada


The Revista de Informática Teórica e Aplicada - RITA is edited under the responsibility of the Institute of Informatics of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul - UFRGS, Brazil. The journal publishes works that show state of the art and trends of the area of Informatics and its applications, also serving as a forum for discussions of projects under development in universities and research centers, as well as their results and application perspectives. The Journal also serves as a vehicle for the dissemination of selected works in events through Special Sections. Its scope is the Ibero-Latin American community, with accepted in Portuguese, Spanish and English.

Free Access Policy:: The journal offers immediate free access to its content, following the principle of providing free scientific knowledge to the public providing greater global democratization of knowledge.

Signatures: : Since 2010, the Journal has been edited only in its electronic version, ISSN 2175-2745, with two number per year. To access previous numbers click here.

Mission: To serve as a forum for debates on topics related to state of the art and tendencies in the area of Informatics and its applications, offering an interdisciplinary environment for the dissemination of the research carried out in the area.  

Goals: Contribute to the advancement of knowledge in the field of Theoretical and Applied Informatics through the publication of works that show state of the art and trends of the area of Informatics and its applications. Projects under development in universities and research centers can be presented, as well as their results and application perspectives. They can be submitted: Scientific articles with unpublished contents and reviews.
