Henri Meschonnic, tradução bíblica e tradição: a escolha do ritmo
Resumo
Em sua tradução do texto bíblico hebraico em francês, o poeta, ensaísta e tradutor francês Henri Meschonnic escolhe o caminho da tradição judaica, guiado pelo comentário de Rashi e pelos teamei hamiqra ou te’amim. Sua tarefa é ideológica e visa à re-hebraização do texto traduzido. Para isso, ele traduz a partir do texto
massorético que foi escamoteado pela tradição helenísticocristã. Para ilustrar o processo de Henri Meschonnic, o presente artigo analisa a tradução do primeiro versículo da Bíblia hebraica a partir dos manuscritos do autor e de suas notas reflexivas.
Henri Meschonnic, biblical translation and tradition: the choice of rhythm- Abstract: In his translation of the biblical Hebraic text into French, the poet, essayist and French translator Henri Meschonnic choose the way of the Judaic tradition, guided by the comment of Rashi and by the teamei hamiqra or te’amim. His task is ideological and seeks to rehebraicize the translated text. For this purpose, he translated from the Masoretic text that was refused by the Hellenistic and Christian tradition. To illustrate the process of Henri Meschonnic, the present article analyses the translation of the first verse of the Hebraic Bible from the author manuscripts and from his reflexive notes.
