As errâncias de Ahasverus entre o passado e o futuro: o Judeu Errante na obra de Samuel Rawet
Resumo
O presente artigo propõe-se a uma leitura hermenêutica da novela de Rawet, analisando algumas das principais reflexões levantadas pelo texto literário, bem como algumas comparações com as versões mais conhecidas da lenda do judeu errante. Propõem-se, ainda, discussões de algumas das principais problematizações que o texto suscita, como a questão da relação entre os tempos passado e futuro, as relações com o cristianismo em face da sua busca pelo reencontro com o nazareno, e também a maneira como a novela é construída incluindo a figura do judeu no grupo de minorias marginalizadas da sociedade brasileira, não sem antes apresentar as origens da lenda e também a maneira como o judeu desterritorializado e errante relaciona-se com a própria vivência de Rawet.
The meanderings of Ahasverus between past and future: the wandering Jew in Samuel Rawet’s work - Abstract: This article proposes a hermeneutic reading of Rawet’s novel, analyzing some of the main considerations raised by the text as well as some comparisons with popular versions of the Wandering Jew legend. It is also proposes discussions about some questions that Rawet’s text raises, such as the relationship between the past and future tenses, relations with Christianity in the face of his quest for reunion with the Nazarene, as well as the way the novel is constructed including the Jewish figure in the group of marginalized minorities of Brazilian society, all these issues following a presentation of the origin of the legend and also the way the deterritorialized and wandering Jew relates to Rawet’s own experience.
