Solidariedade em tempos sombrios: tributo aos “Justos entre as nações”
Resumo
No presente artigo, resgataremos a memória de alguns “Justos entre as Nações”, isto é, aquelas pessoas que, durante a Segunda Guerra Mundial, trabalharam para salvar as vidas de judeus ameaçados pelo nazismo e que, por sua atuação solidária e humanitária, foram reconhecidos e homenageados pelo Yad Vashem, o Museu do Holocausto de Jerusalém.
Solidarity in dark times: a tribute to the “Righteous among the nations” - Abstract: In the present article we will redeem the memory of some “Righteous Among the Nations”, that is, those persons who, during Second World War, worked to save the lives of Jews threatened by the Nazis and who, for their solidarity and humanitarian action, were recognized and honored by Yad Vashem, the Holocaust History Museum in Jerusalem.
