Abstract

Passiflora L. is the largest genus in Passifloraceae family, presents preferentially Neotropical distribution and nowadays is split in four subgenera. Nineteen species are described to Rio Grande do Sul that are deeply studied by our research group about evolutionary relationships and genetic aspects. Here we present the main results on phylogeny and population structure.
