The loss of forests is a major threat to the needs of animal and plant species. However, some animal groups are tolerant and exhibit an adaptation to the new environment. We report here an unusual behavior of Alouatta clamitans over a nest of Ictinia plumbea in Southeastern Brazil. Although most authors report the species as herbivorous, this study contributes with information on a possible protein diet.Downloads
