This article presents two artistic actions: the project Teatro de Cabo a Rabo, the project Teatro como instrumento de discussão social and the project Olindina (en)cena, developed in different territories of Brazil: Salvador/BA and Metropolitan region, Porto Alegre/RS and Metropolitan region, as well as Alagoinhas, Vitoria da Conquista and Olindina, cities in Bahia. These three actions stimulate the maintenance of identities originating from the socio-community bonds. The report presented here addresses an operational mechanism that escapes the logic of the Brazilian hegemonic centers of cultural production. It seeks to reflect about the democratization of culture, the concept of territory and theatrical practice and appreciation as strategies of aesthetic, artistic and citizen formation.
