Abstract

This article presents the development of artistic practices experienced by undergraduate students of theatre, in a virtual environment. The activities emerged due to the restrictions caused by COVID-19 pandemic and show possibilities for online creative process and interaction. Individual exercises and collective games proposing activation of the body and students’ expressiveness are described as an attempt to approximate theatrical language to the screens of computers, tablets and smartphones. In theoretical terms, the genesis of theatrical practices mediated by technological devices is recovered, as well as aspects of the audiovisual language, in order to advance in the reflection on the theatrical making mediated by digital media.
