POETIC EXISTENCE, ACTOR, CREATING THEATERAbstract
The actor’s creation process demands a scenic state of constant mobility and invention of its ways of being in the world. It is through his/her body that the actor becomes an agent of his/her artistic performance, as he/she replaces his/her own being for one ‘other’. When the actor on the stage, he/she makes the mask come to scene, triggering an interplay between presence and non-presence. And, above all, bringing about a state of fluctuation and mobility, in which it is possible to experience multiple forms of being in the world while remaining in his/her own body. Thus, I ponder on the ontological condition that permeates the actor’s act of creation, while I reflect on the poetic form in which creating theater dialogues with the human experience of transformation and turning back to be who one is.
