Abstract

From the painful experience and sexual violence of a close friend of the Brazilian contemporary writer Tatiana Salem Levy it was instigated to fictionalize this same trauma as the plot of the novel Vista chinesa (2021). By the way, this study examines some aspects related to the sexual violence suffered by the character Julia, and how this same traumatic experience reverberate in your relationship with her body. We also seek to understand how a writing of self, in the case of the letter, helps the protagonist to heal from the trauma of rape.
