The survey aimed to identify how the Mbyá-Guarani village women V'ya, located in Major Gercino, located in the northwest of Florianópolis (SC) are organized around the food. We used an ethnographic look through the fieldwork and the intersection of different sources of research. One of the goals after the occupation of the land in 2009 was retrieving elements from your old way of life - that had already been lost due to environmental constraints experienced before - and start a new life with the preservation of the resources required to resume the desired way of life. From there, it resumed the planting of traditional food in these six years of life in the new village. Memory, especially women, responsible for feeding was instrumental in this process. Parallel to these desired traditional aspects coexist other today already incorporated.Downloads
