"Benvenuti al sud" e à sala de aula: uma análise Bakhtiniana de personagens e deslocamentos identitarios

Resumo

Neste artigo estamos discutindo alguns elementos culturais do filme italiano “Benvenuti al Sud”, considerados relevantes no diálogo intercultural, no contexto do ensino da língua italiana como LE. Acreditamos que refletir sobre língua estrangeira implica em considerar a relação entre cultura, linguagem e sociedade. O longa-metragem trata alguns elementos da cultura italiana que podem causar estranhamento e interferir negativa ou positivamente em uma aproximação intercultural. Um desses elementos é o estrangeiro-estranho, a superioridade e hierarquização de grupos sociais, o fechamento diante da outra cultura, e elementos relacionados com uma concepção de cultura mais tradicional. Por outro lado, há outros elementos que podem contribuir positivamente, como a abertura para o outro, o diálogo, a troca, elementos relacionados a uma concepção de cultura sociointeracionista. Ao analisar estes elementos, salientamos que, pedagogicamente, é fundamental que nós, professores, não só busquemos ampliar a visão de mundo do nosso aluno, mas que também provoquemos deslocamentos em nossa própria identidade cultural. Para refletirmos sobre essa temática da aproximação sociointercultural, valemo-nos dos conceitos de poder simbólico, campo, habitus e capital (cultural, social, linguístico). Para analisar as relações interculturais no ensino de língua estrangeira nosso suporte teórico metodológico está na noção de diferença cultural, que nos permite contemplar a enunciação como lugar dos deslocamentos, das negociações de sentido e das hibridizações, aproximando-nos da teoria bakhtinina que traz a noção de enunciado e sujeito discursivo.

"Benvenuti al sud" and the classroom: A Bakhtinian analysis of characters and identity shifts

Abstract

In this article we are discussing some cultural elements of Italian movie " Benvenuti al Sud " . We consider these relevant elements in intercultural dialogue within the context of the teaching of Italian as a foreign language . We believe that reflection on foreign language involves considering the relationship between culture , language and society. The film deals with some elements of Italian culture that can cause estrangement and interfere negatively or positively in an intercultural approach . One such element is the stranger - stranger , superiority and hierarchy of social groups , before the closing of another culture , and related elements with a more traditional conception of culture. On the other hand , there are other elements that can contribute positively , as the opening to the other , dialogue , exchange , elements related to a conception of sociological culture . Analyzing these elements emphasize that it is pedagogically critical that teachers seek to expand the worldview of the student, but also cause shifts in their own cultural identity . To reflect on this theme of intercultural approach we seek the concepts of symbolic power, field, habitus and capital (cultural, social , linguistic ) . To analyze the relationships interculturias in teaching foreign language we use theoretical and methodological support of the notion of cultural difference , which allows us to contemplate the enunciation as a place of displacement , negotiations of meaning and hybridization , bringing us the bakhtinian theory that brings notion of utterance and discursive subject .
