JÚLIA DA COSTA, A POETA INTERROMPIDA
Resumo
Resumo: O nascimento da literatura no Paraná conjuga dois espaços litorâneos, Paranaguá e São Francisco do Sul, habitados na infância e durante a vida adulta da poeta Júlia da Costa. Sua poesia está marcada por dois episódios traumáticos, a perda do pai e da cidade natal e pelo casamento arranjado com um homem mais velho depois de ter sido preterida por uma paixão. Se a primeira perda é motor de sua poesia, a segunda é um caminho para o silenciamento de sua voz enquanto mulher e intelectual, uma vez que o casamento amortece nela a força lírica do amor, matéria do verbo romântico. Entender a trajetória daquela que poderia ter sido a maior poeta do Brasil no período é conhecer os entraves sociais que não permitiram um maior número de mulheres escritoras no século XIX.

Abstrat: The birth of literature in Paraná conjugates two seashore spaces, Paranaguá and São Francisco do Sul, inhabited during childhood and adult life by poet Julia da Costa. Her poetry is marked by two traumatic episodes, the loss of her father and of her hometown and the arranged marriage to an older man after she was deprecated for another passion. If the first loss is the engine of her poetry, the second one is the path to the silencing of her voice while woman and intelectual, once the marriage weakens within her the lyric strength of love, material of the romantic verb. Understanding the trajectory of the one who could have been the greatest poet in Brazil in that period is to know the social barriers that didn´t allow a bigger number of women writers in XIX century.
