Breves considerações sobre os territórios negros urbanos de Porto Alegre na pós-abolição

Resumo

O presente texto tem por objetivo realizar questionamentos teóricos-metodológicos sobre a investigação dos Territórios Negros de Porto Alegre no período da pós-abolição. A preocupação reside em salientar a importância de situar a pesquisa na atuação dos sujeitos em diálogo com o contexto na qual estão inseridas. Para isso, será realizado primeiramente uma revisão crítica da historiografia local para justificar o primeiro intento (atuação do sujeito), e, no segundo momento, iremos discutir a necessidade de vinculação ao contexto para sua melhor compreensão.

Brief comments on the Territories Black Urban of Porto Alegre in post-abolition

Abstract

This paper aims to make theoretical and methodological questions about the investigation into the Black Urban Territories of Porto Alegre during the post-abolition. The concern is to emphasize the importance of situating the research in the performance of subjects in dialogue with the context in which they operate. This will be first performed a critical review of local history to justify the first attempt (the subject’s performance), and the second time, we will discuss the need for linking the context for better understanding.
