Austral: Brazilian Journal of Strategy & International Relations is a biannual publication of the International Strategic Studies Doctoral Program  of the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (PPGEEI/UFRGS). The journal publishes international relations papers focusing on the countries that integrate the Southern Hemisphere. In that sense, its geographic coverage area comprises Africa, Asia and Latin America, in the perspective of great subjects of the security, diplomacy and development agendas.
